We are proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of Derek Brailsford, we have a new trophy in 2026!
The Arthur Brailsford Trophy will be awarded to the runner that makes the most places during the race. This is an opportunity to recognise some of the exceptionally fast runners towards the back of the race that produce fantastic performances, but don’t always manage to get back before everybody else!
Arthur Brailsford, Derek’s Father, won the Hallam Chase in 1926 and it is an honour to be able to add the trophy to our collection of prizes available to win on the night.
